A beautiful film of unspoken love but obviously seen in his eyes, manner and voice. The last scene was poignant, goodbye was difficult to say but the tears and sadness couldn't be hidden in the last frame.

Novel was so captivating that it made me fall deeply in love with the character of knight Erlend Nikolausson. Years later I would meet a man in real who appeared exactly the way I had depicted and perceived this Erlend. For both looks and personality. It wasn't a Nordic knight but an Algerian diplomat. And I will never forget him...🙏🏽

He would have done better if he had talked to the walls. The walls would have heated up since she didn't. Can you imagine no response of speech for 3 months. Somebody should have given him a dog for this picture. Dogs respond at the sight of you with a tail wag, then licking. They would have appreciated you!

The german soldier was a gentleman through the whole movie. Jeanne should have worn a mask during the whole movie since she had nothing to say. Save your sweetness and tenderness for a woman who can respond. Jeanne should have just stuck her head in the icebox, freezer for the whole movie and take the fish with her. She was a dud!!!!

Well the dud firecracker finally went off at the end of the movie and it took all she had in her to say the one word, farewell. It's a good thing that you didn't marry her. She would have made your life too exciting by never talking to you. Just think if you had children with her. She would of taught them how not to talk to you.
